The Long View

A private planner for your money

The Long View projects a household's money year by year to see whether it lasts: salaries, pensions, ISAs, savings and other investments, spending, mortgages and UK tax. Monte Carlo simulations and replays of past market history show how good and bad markets could change the picture, and it can plan gilt ladders that pay a set income in chosen years.

It is run privately for a small group of invited people. It is not a commercial service.

Not financial advice. This is a modelling tool for illustration only. Its results are estimates that depend on the figures you enter and on assumptions, simplified tax rules and third-party data that may be wrong or out of date, so they may be inaccurate for your circumstances. Check anything important, and take advice from a regulated financial adviser, before making any decision. See the terms of service.

Your information

Signing in shares only your email address with this site, to check you have been invited. Everything you enter about your finances is saved in your own web browser on your own device, and, if you choose, in your own Google Drive, which goes straight from your browser to Google. Either way, it is never sent to the site. The privacy policy explains this in full, and the terms of service set out the conditions of use.
